Yeah, Iji's ending was good. It was sad but also hopeful. Plus, I love that song.

I also liked the ending to Metro 2033. There are way to many shooters where the last level is exactly like all the rest, but in Metro 2033 you really feel like it's building up to something big. It also had a pretty good morale choice to determine which exact ending you get, although I felt like they made it too black and white.

I like the way they did the endings in Fallout 2 and Call of Pripyat. The little little epilogues that tells you how your choices affect the characters and world in the future. Character X opened a shop, group Y was eventually killed as an unintended consequence of your attempt to help them, etc… For me that gives a satisfying sense of closure.

Someone mentioned it, but I absolutely love the ending to Earthbound. Being able to walk back through the entire world and explore everything was absolutely fantastic and really made it feel like you did something. It was a long bittersweet farewell (at least before Mother 3 came out).

I also really love the ending to Metal Gear Solid 3. Without spoiling it, the way they made you as the player be the one to finish the job at the end was probably one of the most intense scenes in any game I've played. It definitely made me tear up.
