Help me make the back look more like an exhaust pipe (along with anything else you might think needs work).

Okay, what kind of car is this supposed to be? Station wagon? Or something more futuristic?

It's not really a station wagon, just a plain ol' car, and no, nothing futuristic.

If it's not a station wagon, make its trunk more... defined.

Station Wagon:

Decent Car:

Also, try moving the exhaust pipe one pixel to the right and two or more pixels up. Exhaust pipes are not supposed to stick out far below the undercarriage.

And add a little puff of smoke from the exhaust.

I think the car does a good job of imitating that Rad Racer look.  The red lights would help, like JR did, but I think if you went that direction you'd be best only using them for the outer lights.

That said, I think adding the red detracts from the somewhat monochromatic nature of the source (like you sort of indicated, JR).  I'd just try moving the exhaust up a few pixels first, see how that looks.
