Atomic Rushers is a side-scrolling  face-paced plateformer/shooter. You can't directly shoot at your opponent so you have to destroy the level under his feet and make him fall in the DEADLY SPIKES... Embarrassed
for now it's only 1vs1 but i think 2v2 or 4players FFA will be fun!

Terrain destruction to kill foes? An interesting premise!

Are there going to be power-ups or anything? Enemies? Special terrain?

yeah! for now we added powerups(each one add one bullet to your shot), mines (exploding few secs after you touch them or if they fall down).
if you get too much powerups you have to be carefull, it's easy to destroy the level under your feet and kill yourself :D

we tried to capture a video last night but i don't know why(prototype made with gamemaker)FRAPS capture a HUGE black area with my game screen in the top-left corner.. Sad

i'll post screenshots soon!

Wow it looks really nice in action! Sounds like a fun concept too! Smiley

To me the characters look like dudes with hammer heads shooting lasers out of their mouths.  Cheesy Hahaahah it's awesome.
