This. This kind of stuff right here. It's what I'm procrastinating on, because I've never had an actual Trig class yet... Who, Me?

I have to wonder how trigonometry could be the subject of an entire class. I learned everything I ever needed to know about it (at least in terms of using it for game programming) in less than an hour. Understanding what sin, cos, and tan mean on a unit circle (and that asin, acos, and atan are their inverse) will tell you everything you need to know. The rest is just experimentation and intuition.

8th graders are.... well, 8th graders and this stuff doesn't come easily to all of them

also i remember taking it in conjunction with precalc, so it was maybe only 2-3 months of trig and then a bunch of calculus preparation afterwards (but i could be wrong, this was when i was like 13)

but yeah most competent adults could knock out most of this stuff in a day

knowledge is powa
