Mostly the $5 donation requirement for commercial works.
hahahahhahaha are you kidding me? The Flod range of classes were a huge amount of work, and as such if you plan on using it in a commercial SWF the author requests you make a donation (minimum of $5) towards the project. “Commercial” means anything that is going to make money. This includes (but is not limited to): Flash games seeking sponsorship, Flash games with MochiAds / cpmStar / or any other form of advertising, games you will upload to Kongregate or NewGrounds (if it contains their ads API), and all forms of Flash work sold to clients / publishers.
If your SWF will not directly earn you money (for example using it for music replay in a demo) then you are free to use it without paying.
To obtain a copy of your license please make your donation (minimum of $5) by PayPal to: chreil at hotmail dot com – if possible include a link to your project (more for our interest in seeing how Flod is used than anything else). You will receive a license back by email. Obtaining a license for commercial work? Mmhmm, sure sounds like it.

no you entirely missed my point; i think its ridiculous that you aren't prepared to fork out a measly $5 (about the price of lunch) if you plan on making money from your game. Imagine if you sent your game to a sponsor and they turned round and said "no we're gonna use your game on our site but not pay you for it, even though we'll make profit from it"
seriously, give the man his lunch!

I would if I could. We wouldn't be having this discussion if I had a means of doing so. No, I am unable to get a PayPal yet.

...Great, that thought just put another through my head. I'll prototype in AS3 and finish in C. Now I see my error.

Huh? Are you porting your entire game to a different language because you don't have a paypal account to pay the $5 license fee for a music player?
is this Crazy Land?

Prototyping in AS3 to get the things down, then porting to C for a low-end machine that would be highly unlikely to even run anything Flash.

Yeah, that's actually not a bad way to go, if you were planning to release it as a download anyway.

You can create standalone executables from any Flash Desktop player.

Adding the ability for a player or monster to keep walking after they've attacked in my turn based game has caused a lot of network problems. My code is already very spaghetti-like and now it's quite difficult to manage or even follow what's going on. It's not ending a player's turn when it should! Gah!

I know you don't want to hear this, but: it's time for a thorough refactoring. <- Mr. Tiger says that if you don't you'll regret it later.

Farseer has an Explosion class that was implemented recently, and I really like it, except for the fact that it assumes UserData will always be an integer and vomits errors if it isn't. AGH.

Working with ncurses on my Macbook Pro and curs_set keeps spitting ERR at me. All I want is an invisible cursor! edit: thanks, Terminal.app, for not supporting invisible cursors. T h a n k s
