@koutetsusteel. oh no! I remember other people telling me the game crashes there too, and I don't remember if they found a fix for it (I'll look back in the thread or through past messages to find out if they did), I was told it's apparently something to do when the sound plays of the rocks breaking. I'll get back to this thread and comment with my findings if nobody else chimes in before then. I'm sorry for the problems it's causing. It only seems to crash for people playing that demo, it's never crashed before when I've tested it countless times on my own.

I managed to make it past the random crash and onward! Thanks to someone in this forum for suggesting going to the right of the boss at first!

Ah so that's the quick fix, good. Glad you were able to get passed that crash.

edit: beginning to update the mountainside tiles to look a lot better, more contrast to the foreground tiles, and to mesh better with the other tiles since they tend to use big geometric shapes too.

Thank you! The clouds look different depending on where you are on the island, actually. Cirrus clouds (like in that previous screenshot) appear on the mountaintop stages due to the altitude, cumulonimbus clouds appear in a stage before a storm, etc

Aw thanks everybody.
Today I had to walk home in some rain, and I snapped some photos of the clouds when they were rolling in, and replaced the old clouds in the pre-rain stage with the new ones I just sprited

I sure hope not!

also update to the motorbike stage, since I finished making the mountain jelly stage.
It's got working background parallax, the bike is functional and can move in any direction on the grass, and the spring-loaded bayonet works too, for the main attack.
