I hope to submit something far cooler than this a little later on, but, being inspired by TypeRacer, I threw this together, and thought I'd throw it in here.

It's the next volume of my Text Adventures Without Swords series.  This game challenges the player to type semi-random sequences of letters as fast as he can.  Scoring is based on the length of the word the player needs to write, as well as how fast the player wrote it.

And here's a screenshot:

The procedural generation aspect in this game is, of course, the words that the player has to write. There is a little bit of fun code in there to make the words a little bit closer to being pronounceable. Try saying each word out loud as you type them. It's also worth mentioning that I made this in about a half an hour. :D

And of course, the obligatory link(s) (Updated 05/13/08):

Dear sir,

You are insane.

yours,
Sar

Seriously, though - I got to 121 points, then suddenly realised that the game needed a 'pause' button. ;-)

Hmm, you know what, that's a good idea. I'll run and add that real fast, and upload a new version.

EDIT: Updated the links.
