it's cool but the swinging mechanics were not just fucked up, but fucked up for no reason. the controls are less pleasing, less precise, and require more button presses than before to do the simple tasks you do in a nes game.
also the writing is bad. other than that i like it.

the little cut scenes are pretty annoying
"hey you unlocked a door! forget about all the shit going on, let's watch it open reeealy slowly!"
that and the game feels really easy. I hope there's a super hard option somewhere

I still hate that redesign. Rearmed 1's Spencer was simple and effectively badass. I don't need me a mustachioed vegeta.

I have heard this is disappointing, but it's not going down in price so I may as well buy it

The controls are pretty jacked. You can't shoot your arm straight unless you are crouched or falling. The addition of the jump button doesn't add anything to the level design and the swinging feels more off than the previous Rearmed did. I shoulda tried the demo before buying it.

I don't understand this control decision at all. Is there some reason for it?

Didn't BCR make you unable to shoot your arm straight unless you were crouched?

are you sure there will be a PC version?
even if it doesn't come to PC, after hearing so many disappointed reviews I don't think I'll mind that I may be missing out on it.

If there is eventually a PC version there's a chance they might fix the controls or include a 'classic mode'. I'll buy it if they do.

There is a PC version coming, and when BCR came out on PC they fixed a bunch of niggling issues with the swinging mechanics. I trust they'll do the same here.

If your signature gave somebody an aneurysm would you feel bad? Do you want that on your conscience?
