As you probably know, Adventure Game Studio is a free software for making adventure games. The AGS Awards are an event where players choose the best games made with AGS for that year. Nominees for the awards has just been revealed: if you want to know what best the community has done, that's where to look! Whitout further ado: the nominees for AGS Awards 2010 and the awards topic. Voting (which is open to everyone) will start very soon (I'll keep you informed); in the meantime why not check the nominees out? edit: rps'd

As five games are the lion's share of the Awards of this year, I'll post some screenies + gamepage links.

Congrats to the nominees.
My daughter and I enjoy playing adventure games together. I want to introduce her to some new ones, so these might be a good start (depending on how she takes to them).

I'll have to make sure to play these and actually vote this year. They all look pretty sweet.

Glad to see people are interested in this! I'll add screenies of 3 short-games nominees (remaining two already being featured in best game).

Sweet! I've always been a fan of the classic point-and-click adventures. It's good to see people still producing work using Adventure Game Studio. The last time I was out of work I spent some time trying to re-create Space Quest II in AGS.
From the screen shots, it looks like there are some pretty polished entries this year.

When is the voting going to begin? Also, my daughter liked Kuma Story. Thanks for sharing the images.

Voting has started! Just: ✓ register to the AGS Forum (if you haven't already) ✓ vote on the voting page! You don't need to cast a vote in all categories, so feel free to skip the one you didn't check out!

I front paged the nominee and voting info. Thanks for informing us and all the screenshots.
Why don't they have screenshots on the Awards page? They would be useful for those who don't frequent AGS sites.

It will be something like a combination of a multiplayer game with an IRC chat which will be the key part.
