John Cube is a 2D puzzle game with game rules and mechanics from old classic Sokoban. You play a role of a warehouse worker who has to tidy whole place up in one night. Those who don't know sokoban - goal in the game is to move boxes on "box" spots to complete the room.

PS: That will be my 2nd finished and released game

So far, I'm up to level 15, and I like it. The smoothness of movement for this kind of game is refreshing.

Even when there is no timer, I tend to find pausing of movement found in some Sokoban-ish games a bit annoying. In other words, the fluidity of movement you've created is great.

@ithamore: I think in sokoban games player already spend too much time on walking around and additional pauses realy makes things annoying and that's exactly what I wanted to change Smiley

Maybe the game is realy too short but I didn't want to go as far as 100 maps (what was that goal on start) because I wanted to have finished and polished game out rather than having bigger goals and not completing the game.

Haha, yeah, x2 on that R shortcut. Smiley

And I'll repeat here, this is a very good game. As for the goals, now that the infrastructure is up, a new level pack would be great, since you just have to work with the editor. Just don't add up any new features.

Hell, release an editor, I would love to make a level or two and contribute.

One more vote on the R Smiley

It was a very enjoyable game I got to level 14-15.
I found that the difficulty changed back and fort between some levels, but I guess that might just be the way I approved them.

But in any way: Hand Thumbs Up Left Hand Thumbs Up Left

+1 on reset button.

Bug: if you push a block off a target square, then undo, that block forgets that it's on a target square.

Thanks everyone!

I see that there's a big need for "R" button and I'll add this option in next release that will have some additional bugs corrected (@Draknek: Thanks for that bug report. Warehouse is full of 'em it seems Tongue)

@Retro: Quite some people told me that mapeditor or additional maps would be cool so I'm thinking to add "Custom Map" option where you could play custom made maps. I just have to make user friendly map editor and add it to the game - so it's a promise

Make the user beat their own custom map before uploading to the server.
