Does anyone have any recommendations on how best to capture HD images/video from games consoles like ps3?
The only products I found that seem to do the trick (and not insanely pricey) are:
Hauppauge HD PVR
BLACK MAGIC INTENSITY PRO
BLACKMAGIC DESIGN INTENSITY SHUTTLE

When I looked into this  last year for old my company the Black Magic seemed to be the most popular choice for capturing from HDMI. Although at the time only up to 720p capture was supported. They seem to have bumped their specs since then.

Be aware that none of these devices will allow you to capture HDCP protected content over HDMI.
