I like the new blocks better than the old puzzle piece blocks, but these ones just make the entire screen look tilted. It makes me dizzy Also, the rope physics look amazing! This game's concept reminds me of an old DOS game, Miner VGA. Good game. I can't wait for a demo :D (?)

The Rope looks Great. I still have a little Problem with the uneven shape of the Tiles. It looks like the whole world is turning right. I don't know if you've planed it but you could make tiles depending on the position of it, so that you got another tiles on the sidewalls on the floor/ceiling ect. I hope you know what I mean Also, the animations are Cute( specialy when he falls on the ground)

It does really look great! But as said, it kinda gives you the feeling that everything is tilted to the right. I like that everything isn't completely straight, but the old tile layout looked straight while still being intersecting with other tiles. In any case, good job (:

The idea behind these kind of tiles is to break the squareish nature of a tiled world, but I'll try to figure out something else since it really gives the feeling of a tilted world. I'll think about it. The rope looks nice but I want it to be "perfect" so I'll be working more on it.
I'm not planning on releasing a demo until I have something really playable, so it's going to take a while. Sorry guys :/
Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Yeah while the rope looks awesome, it also looks a bit tricky to use.

Love the smooth physics of it all. Adding things like gliding from cliff faces (see 'shuba' from Below the Root) would make this totally awesome. Waiting for the demo!

I'm working on the gameplay. Right now if you hold the button you throw the rope and if you hold down you keep holding the tip. It's very intuitive About gliding from cliff faces I was planning to do that and also cliff hanging. I am considering a small wall jump but with the requirement of an item. This wall jump wont be for climbing purposes (not another N+ or supermeatboy, that's not this game) but to stop big falls.

I've been working on something for about a week, then i find this which looks extremely similar. I hope my game ends up being different from yours, or we'll have two of the same game! Haha.

I like the newest tileset a lot as well. It doesn't look /too/ square, but it definitely strikes a nice median between being too square and being too visually distracting.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments! Glad you like the music too I've been working on the gameplay today and I've made a new video: finally got the rope to work as I wanted!!! Possible incoming features (please, tell me which whould you like me to include first): -Shovel/pickaxe to dig -Particle effects (water splash, dust... all pixelated) -Pullable objects (rocks) with the rope -Increase rope length when going downwards (until maximum length) -Wall jump/kick (to decrease fall damage) -More funny animations Thanks for the feedback!
