You see, this is why it's locked. I feel obligated to update daily because I said I would, but getting praise and encouragement every day makes me extremely unproductive, since I only tend to work on things that make for good screenshots. I'll start updating again with pics soon enough.

Edit: I just realized I sound really ungrateful for your guys' support. That's definitely not the case. I'm super happy that you guys are actually interested in this game, but I just need to get some shit done before I can go back to the regular public devlog schedule. The game will be better for it Smiley

  • Started redoing player sprite+anims.
  • Worked on snow forest background art.



I am curious about what you guys think of these. The last sprite was kind of an amalgam of a bunch of different styles. I want to make him a bit more blocky so he is easier to read, since I like having the camera zoomed out. What do you think in terms of shape and style? Is it too generic? Better or worse?

I liked the old style. I get your concern but I think this is way too far in the other direction. Also those legs don't look human, and he looks like he's about to fall on his face. Also fuck those colors. Yeah I don't really like anything about new this one, tbh :X
