I went and bought some new stuff. A new monitor, and a new keyboard.

Eveything is seen here. External hard drive, computer/screen, another screen that I bought today, two keyboards (the one on the computer misses two keys, so I bought a new keyboard today) and an external mouse.
I also plugged in my iPhone, used for taking these pictures, for music, after taking them.

The big screen, with Blender running, with the desert level for Go! Go! TIKU TAKU TOU! open.

The other screen, with Code::Blocks running, and lots of C++.

The new keyboard. It has a key to open the calculator<3

The mouse, and Nintendo 64 in the background,

The external hard drive.

Here's my little productivity corner. I'm still stuck on a CRT myself -- the portable is only for working while away from home.

I might upgrade my digs a little depending on the proceeds from my first commercial endeavor. But we'll see Smiley

That desk calendar/planner thing is rad.

Benb, does that small animal on the keyboard live in the CRT?

I recently changed my setup by getting a second screen on a wall mount arm. It's great! Swings and tilts around however over the desk.

Nah, he just stashes his acorns there. Kind of a pest, but then again he's always close enough to give me immediate feedback on all my development!

Here are some low q. photos from my workspace. First one is my composing and post production setup. Second one is the "terrible interface" Triton setup I have. I rarely use them though, no need. Third one is the rehearsal room of my band. I sometimes take live recordings there as well, unless the production requires a bigger studio that I co-operate with in another city.

I also work on the glass computer desk in the living room.

So do you get in the tree too or do you just sit on a chair next to it and reach your hands in?

Haha I use my EEE for recording as well but it cannot even dream of running plug-ins for post-recording and mixing :D so I need the setup I posted above :D

Plug ins are resource leeches, even with 4giga ram / quad core stuff, plug ins like East West cannot run any more than 13-14 channels. Last recording I worked on had 74 tracks Smiley.

EEE Pc cannot handle those even with a DSP card attached (something hard to do anyway to that little lad). The first versions couldn't even run the multitrack programs. The new 10.1 versions are nice though, I use them for remote live recording and abandonware / 2000-2006 era games.
