Johnny Outlaw: Gun for Hire

Johnny Outlaw is a level based top-down shooter with some RPGish elements made in XNA for Windows operating systems.

You play as a cowboy, Johnny Outlaw, who loves money and shooting people. This time he's hunting down the legendary treasure of Tombstone Jack in the adventure of a lifetime. He's making some new friends, some new enemies, and a whole lot of money.

This is an early beta still but I'm looking for feedback in the following areas:

Difficulty - I have 2 difficulties currently(Man and Boy mode), but my testers so far have had wildly different opinions on difficulty

Usability - Were the controls easy to understand, easy to use, presented properly

Bugs - Any bugs are a problem (if you have a bug where levels don't have any objects, your feedback is especially crucial)

Art - So far I don't have an artist to help me, but if there are any glaring problems with the art and its readability, I'd love to hear your feedback. Also, any animations/sound effects that you feel are especially vital.

There's also a survey linked in game if you really like to help!

New Release available!
Johnny Outlaw v1.0.14 (Windows)

This new release has some better art, a few less bugs, runs a little more smoothly, but most importantly it has a lot more music! Hand Metal Left No No NO

If you can't download the game, you can still listen to some of the music here:

Main Theme

"A Well Travelled Man"

"The Song with No Title"

"Man Mountain"

These were all composed by Matt Dunn. See some of his other stuff at SoundCloud

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
