Really, the entire human race needs to have its collective brains white-washed of what it's been taught about sex and just start from scratch. For something that should bring joy to the world, it's so damn touchy and taboo and polarizing.
Bring joy to the world? Its about perpetuating the species, self gratification and reinforcing social bonds. Saying sex is about bringing joy to the world is like saying eating chocolate is bringing joy to the world. What? Chocolate brings joy to the world too.  So you're agreeing with me? Your content seems to agree with me but your rhetorical structure is obviously contrarian. Seriously, I don't understand your beef, is "joy" too strong of a word? Fine, replace it with "happiness". Otherwise, I have no idea what you're getting at. |

Aside from the subject of tolerance, the bit about "not reproducing" seems kind of rubbish. Most asexuals I've met still intend to reproduce, method varying.

I really get annoyed whenever people assume that because a person is willing to remain single for life, he/she must be bisexual/homosexual. We don't live in the 1950s any more. Homosexuals are not "confirmed bachelors." I dunno, I could imagine most people would at the very least think you're a weirdo if you told them you were asexual and some would probably have a hard time accepting/understanding it. Probably because the scientific term asexual means reproducing without sexual contact.  People don't split into twins when they reproduce! It's Dove.
