Still need a place to crash, likely will only be there to shower and get little sleep.  I'll chip in for a hotel room if anyone has one.  Let me know if anyone can accomodate, otherwise I'll book something soonish, thanks!

Yes and hold off on booking hotels until we get the final count and get it sorted. We can then hook people up who needs rooms, figure out how much we can contribute to the cost of said rooms, etc.

FYI another option for accommodations would be to get a room at the downtowner HI hostel (above the LO pub). They have dorm style rooms with 4 or 6 bunk-beds for $33/person, might be more cost effective for some if you're cool with sharing a room Smiley

More info here http://www.hihostels.ca/manitoba/408/hi-winnipeg_downtowner_rates___facilities.hostel

Starting to get excited about this!

Yes, the HI is an option, and certainly the most cost effective one, but keep in mind that it is a bit of a walk from the jam location through a marginally sketchy area at night.

The accordion's going to be in for repairs for the next two months.  Shit.

Also, I'm somewhat pro-Hostelling; odds are we'll have an abundance of cars and we can room together.  I like Hostel International, having used them on both coasts.

BONUS! The HI downtown also has the Lo Pub, which is where the Winnitron normally lives.  My Word!

Although we may have to bring the Winnitron to the jam, so I'm not sure if it will be there at that time lol.

Filled in the form but never heard back about hotels or whatnot - gonna make plans with cousins to stay in Oakbank assuming I have no room. Smiley

Also - booya, barely a week and a bit to go!

Are there still spaces available for this? I live here in Winnipeg and was sad to find out I missed the last one, and I almost missed this one as well!

As for contributions, I like to think of myself as a graphic designer, but my only experience making games was either some text adventures on a VIC-20 and some crappy little things in Hypercard. Tongue

Yeah, you should come on by! We can't be sure you'll still get a t-shirt, but there should definitely be room if you're interested in coming on Friday evening and then Saturday/Sunday.

All information you need to get there and when to come is on this pageBeer!

Lol great. I'm not too worried about the shirt, as I'm on the portlier side and probably wouldn't fit them. (Unless I can lose about 150 pounds in the gym by Friday, lol.)

So, I just need to order a ticket off that website and then show up with my laptop and stuff? Does everyone work on their own projects, or does everyone kinda work together?
