So uh there used to be a message up there telling people about the IRC. I don't see it anymore but whatevs. It only gave server/channel info, and acquiring a client and popping in the right info was prob. a bit overcomplicated for many. I would suggest, then, replacing the message but including this link:

Opens a handy AJAX chat window, no plugins etc required.

Yeah, it's still there. I figure most people here have the technical know-how to open an IRC client themselves. Maybe I'm wrong.

I agree that a link would be useful. TigIRC needs to reclaim the glory of the biggest channel on FurryNet Espernet.
