I just finished it.
It wasn't particularly difficult (although some parts had me a little bit stuck while I thought), or very long.
But it was amazing.
Really, truly amazing.
Finishing off the final boss? That was amazing.
Now I'm going to listen to the ending song. Over and over and over again.

It's a worthy sequel for sure. This time it actually felt more like a game rather than a tech demo. It's obvious there was a lot of thought gone into the single player campaign, and it kept me glued to the seat. There were some witty puzzles but they never felt unfair. The ambience was more ominous and apocalyptic, with more focus on plot and better use of audio. And I like my humor just as I like my coffee: black.

I only found one bug, you can get the White Out achievement with some flinging before actually completing the level. It's not a game breaker, but the sudden dialogue surprised me. On the other hand, someone on /v/ had apparently avoided picking up potato Glados with some clever jumping. The game suddenly continued as normal after he took the next elevator, so there was no proper sequence breaking, it just became a plot hole.

Also PORTAL TO THE MOON, fuck yeah.

I'm eager to try co-op too, but I've only got two Steam friends who play the game. Not going to use the shop, so I won't let it affect my opinion.

The fuck is this

That is completely optional, cosmetic stuff that doesn't add anything at all to the game.

Paying for co-op taunts? Two dollars for each?

One of the best games I've played in a while. Definitely something I'd expect to see from Valve. The humor was great (I was laughing almost non-stop the first 10 minutes), much more variety in puzzles, great plot twists, many very memorable moments, I could go on.

I also nearly died of laughter when GLaDOS got all pissed off at the bird yelling at you to kill it and when Wheatley got attacked by the bird. Man I love this game. Now to do the co-op campaign

Well, that sucked. I finished it, but because my system has a known issue with Bink video(AMD), it was all screwed up. Hopefully the ending's on the youtubes...

Okay, two points I want to make and they are both super spoilers.  But I can't figure out how to do the black-boxing, so I guess screw it.  I'll ask elsewhere.  Tired

There's...there's a button you can press to see the code on someone else's posts, you know. It looks like this:

Yeah, I noticed the background span: black thing earlier, but wasn't sure if they were doing it manually or if there was some button for it.  I'm obviously hesitant to insert html code manually into a forum post.

Anyway, they're *really* heavy spoilers.  I don't want to take the chance some newbie will hilight just to read it.

The page on steam for portal 2 says that level editor tools are going to be made available at some point. For this I am impatient.
