There's some electronic music out there that is actually musically good. However, if you just go on YouTube or Google (or the radio, for that matter) and look for electronic music, you'll get 64 measures of drumbeat. So, I think it would be nice if people shared any good electronic music they know of.

Proceed.

several more. i got tired of writing descriptions after the first few.

Oneohtrix Point Never - Returnal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxiWjl9GPhM
highly recommend his new album "returnal"--excellent analogy ambient music, and easily my favorite of 2010.

Caribou - Tits & Ass The Great Canadian Weekend http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_YIqdB7H2g
from "start breaking my heart", my favorite album of his. his newer work is more folky but still good.

Minilogue - In the Shade of the Sun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDICDiHipyc
so much atmosphere. from cd2 of "animals", an underrated ambient phenomenon!

Proem - Little_A http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORLS6MNVy4w
this is from the live "liveMD[cd?]", which i like more than most of his recorded stuff.

Savath + Savalas - Paths in Soft Focus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rg3lHWEw8iY
side project of prefuse 73. this track is off the "rolls and waves" ep.

Mogwai - The Sun Smells Too Loud (James Holden Remix) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G09z6J-WUkA
one from the dance camp for good measure.

Telefon Tel Aviv - Sound in a Dark Room http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHSlceVlMq0
Amon Tobin - Deo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=av25IbK0f-M
Murcof - Maiz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9DBeVN-CS4
Herrmann & Kleine - Leaving You Behind (Without Knowing Where to Go) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yR2tKN6wkxM

bonus round:
Four Tet - Sun Drums and Soil http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZXcn-RgbF4
Squarepusher - Port Rhombus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWNgcVq-GMQ
Alva Noto - Xerrox Monophaser 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_kx6Yxomy0
LSG - El Tiburon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmRqzX-rZ3A
Triosk - Not to Hurt You http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovyCX5Df3eo
continuous mix i made of some cool electronic and post rock: http://rep.undev.org/mushic/mixes/Max%20Crane%20-%20my%20home%20by%20the%20ocean.mp3

I'm 5 songs in and enjoying it. So far they are beautifully diverse in a tasteful way. "The Last Days of Gravity" is my favorite so far.

This place has some great electronic music that, unfortunately, no one has heard of. Stuff like new wave, dark ambient, etc. I really dig the Data 3, John Costello, and Quantom 1+3 albums they got there.

Klaus Schulze's Irrlicht is an amazing ambient album, got me into doing ambience too.

Liaisons Dangereuses is a great pre-industrial band as well.

Malaria and Yaz (or Yazoo) are great hidden treasures of new wave bands. Well Yaz isn't really that hidden, but still, they're good. Check out their song Chinese Detective. Good stuff.

I don't know many current electronic guys but I like some of the, "old school" people  Wizard Wizard Wizard from fifties/sixties/seventies so heres some of that? I really like the strange tones and occasional goofiness.

Raymond Scott's Manhattan Research Inc stuff is incredible and his Soothing Sounds For Baby albums are also good and have excellent cover art.

it's me i'm the baby in dat pic

Mort Garson too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4nbfPZa9Ws this one is really good imaginary vidcon music but whats this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0j-8h9Jf0U BLACK MASS LUCIFER tumbling through an eldritch bramble..!

I only found out about the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Centre guys recently but this track is excellent so they are probably worth checking out..!

Basil Kirchin's "Worlds WIthin Worlds" albums. I've only heard one but it's phenomenal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeZ-r_JSeaQ

Perrey & Kingsley oh god im so sorry

BBC Radiophonic etc but especially the soundtrack for Doctor Who ep "The Sea Devils" which is insane http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3c7GT63SxU

there's a really good compilation album called OHM Early Electronic Music or something which is a lil more hibrow heh / more based around avantgarde composer dudes like Olivier Messiaen and such but it's still a good listen if you like this stuff.

Also some of this stuff is being toted as an influence for newer electronic guys like Belbury Poly and Moon Wiring Club ut I don't know them that much http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlxbcmMqP7I&feature=related ahahaha hell yeah

Ratatat has some songs that are kinda electronic, like Shempi is probably their most electronic song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLUthOxfpMo but their more acoustic ones are great as well.
