Maybe because this is a thread about recommending new music to people and everyone knows Kraftwerk already.

I guess I missed that part of the OP (it's not there)

I think listening to electronic music too much makes you forget what people who do not already listen to electronic music consider "obscure"

EDIT: BTW Fennesz is great and anyone who finds they like Fennesz, I would also recommend Jan Jelinek.

If I understood it correctly, this thread is about electronic music, then I can post this:
Jungle/DnB (though not really the typical):
London Elektricity feat. Robert Owens - Different Drum
LTJ Bukem - Horizons
Hatiras - Spaced Invader (J Majik Remix)
DJ Marky ft. XRS - It's The Way

Trance:
David West - Make U Mine
C-Quence - Endorphine
Paul Van Dyk - For An Angel
Solid Globe - Sahara
Kyau & Albert - Kiksu

House:
Cosmos - Take Me With You
Daft Punk - Derezzed
Eric Prydz - Pjanoo
Swedish House Mafia - One

Electro:
I-F - Space Invaders Are Smoking Grass

If not however, then you should name it just 'Ambient, lounge, chillout and similar' and not confuse people.

Lollard - Sail to Heaven at the Internet Archive is some good, droning ambient music. I would also like to recommend The Stars of the Lid for some good drone.

I haven't seen their name anywhere in the thread, so here's a selection:
Modeselektor - Hasir
Modeselektor ft. Thom Yorke - The White Flash
Modeselektor - Let Your Love Grow (don't let the beginning fool you)

They also teamed up with Apparat to create Moderat:
Moderat - A New Error
Moderat - Rusty Nails

I approve of most everything in this thread.

I'm into dub/minimal techno every once in a while, so here's some :

The Field - Over The Ice
Sleeparchive - Hospital 2
Closer Musik - Maria
Monolake - Plumbicon
Legowelt - Discorout (more on the electro side here)
Anstam - Albert (industrial-ish dubstep-ish whateverthefuck, I love this guy)

And be sure to check out Moritz von Oswald Trio too, if you haven't already.

It's a band led by one of the Basic Channel guys. Other members include Sasu Ripatti (aka Vladislav Delay) and Max Loderbauer (of Sun Electric fame) The music is sort of a mix between dub techno, ambient, krautrock and early jazz fusion, all improvised live. Some real trippy shit.

Been listening to a lot of Com Truise lately. It's like droney shoegaze mixed with an 80's film soundtrack.

Com Truise - Dreambender
Com Truise - Fairlight
