Hey guys,

We're working really hard on our projects. This is still not super polished, but I guess it's been in development long enough to ask for some direct feedback.

Sein has nice graphics, but I'm too lazy to make screenshots.

Works best with a controller. Any controller. Any controller that is not your keyboard. But it also works with a keyboard. Just saying.

This build won't be online for a very long time, so it'd be awesome if you guys could try it and list what you liked / disliked and what confused you while playing it. Constructive Criticism is appreciated.

There are a few show stoppers and a general lack of polish in there right now, so in case you can't complete it (and I bet you won't at this point), here's a walkthrough:

1) In the light world, the torch is lit, the entrance to Wendells Cove is open. So in the dark world, just light the torch using your fire attack to open the gate. The attack that's currently in there still looks kinda... bad.

2) To get the seed of power, you must go way up in the cove - but you'll need 4 ability orbs to get there. So explore the cove in the dark world and get all the orbs (one of em is outside). Now that you have 4, get the seed of power, which means that now you can finally MOVE objects!

3) To move the white block without getting killed by fireballs, you might wanna check out the environment around you. You'll notice that one of the blocks up there can actually be pulled out. Grab it, use it as a blockade. Damn Fireballs.

4) In the light world, there's a white pedestal in the cove - Light reacts to light, the white block will do. You can bring light objects with you into the light world if they're also in the sunlight when you warp.

5) Push the white block onto the white pedestal, go through the barrier. You'll see a message saying that you're an amazing person. Thank you.

Wow...

The graphics and audio are really incredible. Is this the same game that you posted a video of a while back? With the kodama as the main character? If so the progress is looking awesome.

A couple of criticisms I have - the crouch feels a little bit over-animated to me. The music and graphics seem very calm and relaxing and the animation looks sort of explosive.

The other thing is the "You got an orb!!" pop-up message. Like I said, it seems to go against the established mood.

Other than that I love what you have so far. Can't wait to see the next build!

Did you manage to get through the entire thing?

Actually, no not on the first try. I got to the area where you first switch to the dark world I believe, and then I got confused and stopped. I'll go through it again with your walkthrough though.
