Hello! I just released a major update to LabChirp.

LabChirp is a sound effect generator designed to be easy to use and at the same time very powerful, so you can create the sound effects you want. Here are some (new) example sounds:

Gunshot
Music
Cry

Old example sounds can be found in the old thread.



Download LabChirp
Works on Windows and maybe other platforms if you use Mono.

Your old LabChirp sounds can be loaded with this version but they might not sound exactly the same due to some quirk fixes in the sound generation. But don't worry! It's very unnoticeable.

Anyway, I appreciate feedback a lot. Please try it, and please find it useful!

I liked the concept behind the first version, what are the improvements here?

There's a changelog on the download page, but the most notable things are the randomizer, optionally higher quality sound output and more envelopes.
