Awesome! Title screen looks pretty! The first thing I did was go to fullscreen — but fullscreen looks ugly cause it's not antialiased

Congrats on the release! The game's artwork is gorgeous. (Off topic: when I realized that this was your game, I ran to your website to make sure Arcmagi hadn't been canceled. That's still happening, right?)

It does that on Win7, if the game has to be stretched to fullscreen. Sorry about that. (Off topic: when I realized that this was your game, I ran to your website to make sure Arcmagi hadn't been canceled. That's still happening, right?) Yeah, it should come out eventually. The problem is that I went full-time indie and Lurk can't devote enough time to make AM a viable project, so we need to secure our position with other games before I can get back to a hobby project like that.

And more importantly, RPS, as you already know. Demo was fun, by the way. I think it's gotten under my skin, I may have to pick this up.

Fucking Kotaku readers, man. Not a single comment was even about the game.
Better than no comments

Yeah, but I expected them all to be just straight hate, with the game being a visual novel and all. It wasn't that bad for our first brush with the mainstream media, I think.

I admit I was a bit afraid to read the comments. I don't think the artist was brave enough to do it in the end. After the TIGS frontpage, she avoids comments sections under mainsteam listings of the game . It's a crazy amount of traffic, though. And most importantly - some general recognition that may come in handy when talking about the game with other mainstream reviewers or Steam. Also, I really need to update that trailer. The game changed a lot since then, and that damn grammar error in the video is going to haunt us forever.

The TIGS frontpage is quite possibly worse than Kotaku, eheh. Anyway, here's hoping the game goes through the roof to prove that non-dating VNs are equally viable.

Ok...so I played Cinders Demo for short time and I can say few words about it. It have very nice graphics, good effects and great music. I'm not native english speaker, but I can say that story is so nice and simple, that I can understand it without problems. At all, Cinders is well done visual novel! Congratulations from Polish guy!

I think that so far it does pretty well as far as VNs go. Better than the average commercial VN, so it seems there's a market for less generic settings. We'll see if it actually succeeds on any broader scale though. I have my doubts, especially as we pumped way too much time into this for a moderate success to count as an actual success.

We've updated the trailer. The old one had that silly typo and used outdated assets and scenes. Here's the new one:

Guys, we're on Greenlight! Visual novels focused on women aren't exactly Steam's bread and butter so any help is appreciated. Thanks!
