Discuss how fucking fantastic this series is.
As a note: The two-part starter for series 6 is SO FUCKING GOOD YOU HAVE NO IDEA

Is it that episode where he's running and trapped inside a building? in that season where he saves the universe at the end?

The new aliens, whatever they were called, rival the weeping angels in terms of creepiness. Especially in the scene from the second episode where Amy is briefly trapped in that room and the stuff on the ceiling. I really hope we get to see more of those aliens, the little girl, the space suit, and interracial gay sex. I really appreciate that the level of scary remarkable in season 4 (Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead, Midnight, Planet of the Dead, Waters of Mars, and almost everything else) has been combined with the humor of season 5.

I liked the angels one.
And the one where he goes back to the '40s.
Other than that it's pretty boring.

The Moff>>>>>Rusty (at least as show runner. I actually quite like Davies writing sometimes)
So what are people's theories on the regenerating little girl?

Im not too fussed for Doctor Who, but the episode a couple of years back with the Vashta Nerada creeped me out. Shadows turning people to skeletons but you could still hear their spirits talking through the intercom system like they were still there

Silence In The Library was the first Doctor Who Episode I ever saw. After that was the one where whatshername goes back in time and sees history differently.
So anyway, I will likely be getting into this show very soon whether I want to or not

If people are interested in jumping in, then start with the last series (series 5 of NuWho), which was more or less a complete cut off from what came before. British series are also a lot shorter than American seasons, so all in all there's only 15 episodes needed to catch up.
Also, you might want to watch the Silence on the Library/ Forest of the Dead two-parter (series 4), since it introduces a key character for the current arc.

So what are people's theories on the regenerating little girl?
Unless she's the Master's daughter (which is hardly plausible) she has to be the Doctor's daughter. Judging from the photograph of Amy with a baby, and the "you only get to live once" bit at the end, I think that some alternate-reality junk is going to get involved as a result of the Doctor indirectly warning his past self, where Amy and the Doctor had an offspring. Honestly, though, I'm more interested in the carnivorous space suit, and why it's intent on murdering the Doctor.

Its very possible that she's susan, the daughters granddaughter from the first series, or possibly a regenerated romana or something. Alternatively, some sort of tardis impregnation or something... However, as regards to the susan thing, its most likely amys daughter, given the picture in the room where she's taken from, and the tardis's scan and all. Alternatively, its river song, who is in fact amy's daughter or something (given the backwards in time thing...)

I don't think it'll be a previously seen time-lady. I think I trust Moffat too much to pull something essentially out of his arse like that. A lot more people currently watch Doctor Who than know who Rani or Susan or even Jenny are, and Moffat has consistently made the case that it's a kids show. I Don't expect him to do something the kids wouldn't understand.
Then again, I have absolutely no idea who she's going to turn out to be. Any guess is better than no guess... I guess.
Also, a bit annoyed that I'll have to wait a few weeks before the series gets back on track. When the Doctor was like: 'let's go have adventures!', I was like: 'Noooooooo, I want to know who that girl waasss!'.

yeah, that's my problem with dr who, it seems like only 1 in 3 episodes advance the plot in a meaningful way, and before that there's only little sneak peaks at what's happening, like the bad wolf thing.
Still, I'm hoping moffett will pull up something nice, and something from the older series, I dont really like the fact that russell t davis essentially killed off the master, but he did bring back sarah jane, which most people wouldn't have known about. Given the track record for bringing stuff back I hope that moffett will at least bring SOMETHING back.
And to people saying that the younger viewers wont understand, It's pretty easy to explain that it's the doctors granddaughter... however, given other stuff from the episodes, I dont think that's the explanation any more.
Anyways, fun trivia (About me), my grandad only bought a tv so him and his family could watch the first episode of dr who.
Also:
RIP Elizibeth Sladen.
