I don't really have much to reply to other than that, other than that human beings are not threatened, allowing exceptions to gender roles to flourish does not cause our population to plummet. I want for people to not be limited by stuff like this, and everything after humans started building walls to keep wild animals from gnawing on our population has been safe enough to allow people to transcend their gender roles, especially since these people will still procreate even if they're not brutish men and dainty women.
Note: The countries with most gender equality DO have population plummeting. What conclusion to draw from that, is you people to make, I already stated I won't argue anymore on this thread. |

Question regarding "cunt". Why is "dick" seen as a minor insult but "cunt" is much more serious and marginalizes women, whereas "dick" doesn't marginalize men? Is it the same reason "nigger" is much more potent than "cracker" or a similar insult aimed towards whites? (by this I mean that males/whites have never been marginalized or oppressed in the past and therefore insults towards them don't have the same power)

Nope, I think a bunch of them really do suck at discussion.  sure but that's just human nature, you can't really expect more than that from people. it's not like you don't get that everywhere else, in pretty much every other discussion, online or off, all throughout history. even discussions in congress, even presidential debates, are pretty much exactly as you described. |

Think of it this way - a lot of people describe others as "left-brained" or "right-brained;" this actually has roots in science because the left half of your brain is primarily devoted to logic and the right half is primarily devoted to creativity. (I use the word "primarily" here because it's not really that divided, but we do see common trends.)

These are both true. Also true: language is left-brained. Also true: women are more verbal(most recent studies show 3x, IIRC, can't be arsed to check and cite since apparently citing scientific studies makes people angry about being misunderstood wrong). Also true: "neural plasticity" that makes the whole group of facts bullshit and irrelevant. Continue. |
