I played a much earlier version than the one you're on(1.06) but it was definitely one of the more enjoyable experiences I've had here in the feedback forum. When I saw the images and envisioned the mechanic, I thought it'd feel a lot more basic and 'flash gamey', and it wasn't. The screen locking mechanic really made it feel like I had a lot of control and made it feel 'not linear' despite it being obviously linear.
The pacing was also great. One of the most important things is to never make people feel frustrated. Most of the times I test games here, if I have to replay a section multiple times, or if failure means "Back to the start, again", or if a major game ending bug occurs, I just throw in the towel. I noticed you made sure to respawn me fairly close to where I died, which made my mistakes less painful, and I rarely felt my deaths hindered me or interrupted the flow of the game. I was also never stuck at a particular obstacle for an unpleasant amount of time.
The only moment that interrupted the flow of the game was waiting for the platforms in certain levels (particularly the one with the vertical lasers). The platform seemed to get lost, and sometimes when i locked the screen the platform would magically appear in an inappropriate place. This issue may have already been addressed, in which case,

.
I had no clue what was up with the stone plug things. If they do something, I didn't figure it out. And since they weren't necessary they sort of distracted me more than they should have.
As far as the controls, the only problem was that sometimes my vertical jump felt like I couldn't change direction and was stuck going vertical. And the small holes with those stone things, I was able to get in them but it was so hard that I wasn't sure if i was even supposed to fit in them.
I think the basic art style is cool. You might want to clean it up/make some fluid animations. Something still minimalist, maybe look at world of goo's art. I admit the screenshots of the game didn't fill me with awe or necessarily make me want to play, which is kind of a problem.
Since you seem to be updating this a lot, I'll make sure to check it out again next update!
