Hey, can you make me a jazzy chiptune? Kinda like this song ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=locWe1Hi54o ), but make it your own. Do whatever you want with it, then email it to me at [email protected]!

It's not made yet, I've only started sketches and design. It's a detective game--but I really just want the music made, as an example to the future music makers of this project of mine.

Yes, whoever wants to make the game's music, they can look at yours as inspiration. Smiley

Well if you're going to use someone else's music, then I really don't see the point of making any music. On the other hand, if you would like me to make the music you would actually use, I would be glad to do so. How much music do you need anyway?

I don't mean to be annoying or anything, but I was just wondering if you perhaps missed my post?:D (At the end of the first page!)

If you are not interested I understand that of course but I would like to know!:)

Not sure...let's see, what would you make Genesis-style music in, first of all? I'd suggest PXtone.

Seven stages music, main menu music, Mission Start music, Credits music...boss music...

Lots of music, but you could just make like, credits music. That'd work.

BattleBeard... From what I can tell from your thread you don't have en engine, a programmer, or an artist for your game.
Why are you asking composers to do work for you right now? You should maybe look for a composer when you have the other main two priorities taken care of.

Tesselode, I wouldn't bother starting anything with someone who has absolutely nothing to show yet.
I'm sure you know better anyways, but just a fair warning.  Tongue

Sorry about that; I just looked at it. Your game currently looks nothing like a forest, so it's going to be hard for me to come up with fitting music. Maybe you should get more of the graphics done first?

You don't have to worry about how I'll make the music. Smiley
And yeah, that is a lot of music. But that doesn't mean I can't make a few songs. Bones is probably right; you should get some more work done on your game before I do anything.

I was thinking you'd say that! I am currently looking for an artist to help me with the graphics but I figured it'd be easier to find one if I had the music done (and the other way around, so why not start in both corners!).

I don't mean the game will necessarily look like a forest, I just tried to describe some sort of music that is calm and you can listen to it for a very long time without getting angry with it! Anyway I will make sure to get back to you when I am closer to finnished!
