I made a little game a while back called Syndicate, which was like a warped blend of IRC chat/Mafia game ( http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=3215.0). Well I've remade it but as a browser based one now instead. You can essentially do the same kinda things; crimes, pimp, shoot, rob, kill etc. Anyway, if you're into this kind of thing, or never tried it, give it a try and lemme know what you think. There's already a very well known and beloved game called Syndicate. You're very likely going to confuse/disappoint people by using that name. |

I don't really want to have to sign up to playtest the game.. I would do otherwise though.
also, can't help but add an echo to 'oh, not that syndicate'
I know you *can* call it that, but is it a good idea to start people off with your game thinking 'oh..'?

Everytime I visit the Feedback Forum, there's just a small second where I get my hopes up, only to realize its still that Thread. :/ I'm sorry, I haven't tested your game and probably won't simply because of the name. My reaction is the same everytime: Oh, Syndicate!  What the...  Oh bloody hell, not AGAIN  Let's get the hell outta here, I'm pissed. Which is a pity since the game does look interesting enough. |

Like AmnEn, I keep coming back to this thread hoping and thinking it's a Syndicate knockoff, then get all dashy-hopey when I see and remember it's a Mafia Wars knockoff instead.
