Hi there!

I'm looking for some good articles about making a resolution and dpi independent game for Android. I've found some, but they only talk about interfaces using xml, while I also need to scale my bitmap and check for screen ratio.

Thank you!

Here's a talk from this year's Google I/O: Building Aggressively Compatible Android Games.

It's 50 minutes, so a TL;DW in regards to what you specifically mentioned: use openGL for fast GPU assisted scaling; design the game so that one dimension always fits the screen and the other can be clipped or extended without negative effects on gameplay.

He touched on other stuff as well so I recommend watching the whole thing.
