To be fair, Charlotte was also based on a character from The Rose of Versailles. A snooty female French fencer is fair inspiration for the entire human race. Volibear reminds me of Iorek Byrnison from the Golden Compass.  |

I know I say this every champion release, buuuuuuuut... Seems like they're not good at this whole champion creation thing anymore. I remember them hyping Riven up, how ALL HER DASHES ARE UNHEARD OF OH GOD IMAGINE THAT MOBILITY IT WILL CHANGE THE GAME. And then Leon was all, ALL HER STUNS ARE UNHEARD OF OH GOD IMAGINE THAT CROWD CONTROL IT WILL CHANGE THE GAME. |

Gotta hype your newest stuff when you are running on the free-mium payment model.  Newest champs have to look fun or be at least be a little bit overpowered, then they nerf them into the ground a bit later (like 2/3 weeks). |

The damage penalty on Fiora's ultimate seems like a good example of Riot's newbie-friendly design philosophy. To me, reducing the damage caused by attacking the same target multiple times is just punishing the player for playing the champion correctly. It also cannot hit minions - which again makes the skill easier to use, but removes something that could have separated the "good" Fiora players from the bad ones. It also means there's one less opportunity for counterplay because it doesn't make a difference if an opponent is near the minions or not when they get hit by the ult.

yeah reading on the champ's skill I don't see why the DUELIST wouldn't want to hit the same guy over and over??
she couldnt beat skeleton king anyway... he's a skeller. a skelly.
