yeah she's still really good as a champion. but now when you go up to do your combo most ap mids will just stomp you, since you have to be really close. most of the newer ap mid heroes you don't want to get that close with. ahri can charm you, ziggs can nearly perma slow you, xerath can just plain nuke you to death, etc.
I don't bother picking her in blind pick anymore. if you don't know who you are going against annie is a terrible choice.
the ratio between good and bad match-ups of her was about even before all these newer high range/mobility champions were released. now it's skewed and she has so many poor match-ups that she isn't worth picking in blind pick or draft unless you're last pick.
There is a very large reason he is banned first in high level play, he falls off late game, but in the meta it's all bout early game dominance, ganking, and pushing down things. I mean in pubs he kinda either does nothing or is a huge issue.

Started playing ranked. So far I've gone 6 wins one loss. Ranked is a lot easier than normal. I guess the hidden elo for normal has no influence on your ranked starting point.
Also havent played with one jerk so far in ranked, everyone has been a lot nicer than in normals.
only a matter of time....

I have a 100% win ratio in ranked and I'm going to keep it that way...by not playing ranked. 1:0

this game has taught me that everyone is functionally retarded until proven otherwise
but my personal ranked stats are really good imo
top 5 champions in ranked:
akali 71.4% victory 8.4/1.8/4.5 KDR
tristana 54.5% victory 7.7/3.5/7.6 KDR
amumu 50% victory 2.5/2.5/10.0 KDR
ashe 0% victory (WTFF!??!?!) 13/2.5/12 KDR (DOUBLE WTF!??!?!111)
janna 50% victory 1.5/2.8/11.5 KDR
with a total average KDR of 6.2/2.5/6.2
its just so hard to carry complete fucking incompetents, who by the way always manage to end up on my team
1/10 vlad 16 minutes in holy shit
someone kill me
i need to start playing skarner in ranked
or at least champions who can do everything by themselves

I hate how you can get super farmed and get a million kills and still not be able to carry your team.
what's the point of being a carry if you can't even carry. I don't get it.

tbh i like the fact that carries still require a team protect them
it makes it more of a team game than a 1 man show
however
it sucks when your team does not understand the concept of initiation
or you know
teamfighting in general

>I get 10/2 in a game >it's because I'm so pro, it has nothing to do with the enemy team
>my teammate gets 1/10 >it's because he is so bad, that's the only reason

nillo have you seen some of the people i play with initiating 1v4, diving at lvl 1, autoattacking lanes, dying multiple times due to typing, then having the audacity to blame it on everyone else maybe it's better in europe, but so far in NA, its just been really aggravating and yeah, i can understand getting 10/2 in one game and it being a fluke, but i perform this way fairly consistently

I'm just saying that there is some huge dissonance going on here. You're saying that the bad players always end up on your team, while also saying that you keep dominating the enemy team. Maybe you're playing in a way that lends itself to having a high KDA, but not a high win rate. Maybe you don't buy as many wards as you should be doing. Maybe the other guys on your team think you are the same type of person you think they are. Do you ever notice your own mistakes or just the ones your teammates make? Because from what I've seen you post in the thread so far, you seem to think you're the perfect player, and if you lose it was because someone else did something wrong.

mmm, you're right
i just get really mad at this game sometimes
and i don't "always get idiots", that's just hyperbole on my part (sorry)
but it seems like it happens enough to make me want to tear my eyes out
and they're so consistently offensive and rude that it taints the experience for me
(i still have a pretty good w/l ratio, 1100+w to 850ish losses in normals, 23/16 in ranked)
im not perfect (far from it) but i still feel like i do very well on a regular basis

that's a really good win to loss actually, if you could do that in ranked wouldn't you be one of the top players? (im too lazy to actually check)

iirc paul eres has a similar w/l so idk about that
EDIT: just checked my stats and the precise w/l i have is 1240/1003
i think the reason its like that is because i duo/trio queued normals a lot with paul or some of my friends and we're always on skype so we've got decent coordination (which isnt really a luxury i have in solo queue ranked)
i've won most of the ranked games i've duo'd with paul tho, so maybe we should do that more often B)

john: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning-Kruger_effectone thing I'll say about John is that he plays well but way too safe. sure he doesn't die a lot (when playing ad carry) but there are so many times where he's so scared to die that he's not even in the fight. so what's the point? you might as well be dead since you aren't contributing any damage or anything. though I don't think it is entirely his fault, since there are very few options for tanks/supports to protect the carry outside of their usually limited skill-set. unless you tailor your team comp to revolve around a single carry and run like 3-4 supports to protect him. like when Dignitas runs soraka/lulu/alistar/janna with kog'maw.
