jungle akali is suuuuper strong now, esp with the buff to spirit of the specral wraith

20% cdr on smite, cheap spellvamp and +25% damage to creeps? gg

My Buying Order:

1. Machete + 5 Pots
2. Spirit Stone + Boots
3. Revolver
4. Spirit of The Spectral Wraith
5. Giants Belt + Merc's Treads
6. Rylais (usually by 15 min if you forgoe the mercs treads)
7. Gunblade
8. Any other high AP item

By the time you get gunblade you have >50 percent spellvamp, and retarded chasing power. Your clear times are pretty good due to having smite up all the time, and your ganks are unstoppable.

Why jungle akali over top lane akali? Because you get dunked pretty hard by most of the other melee solo tops (Darius, Jarvan etc) and at any rate they're too tanky (most of the time) to burst down with any ease. Mid akali is still a good choice (lots of squishies to feed on) but it's really fun to be able to roam as a jungler.

When to not pick akali: when the enemy has in excess of 2 tanky dps heroes and/or lee sin

just played a game for the first time in forever against bots. holy shit a lot has changed. Boots upgrades? what is this madness?

boots 3 pots isnt the only viable starting item set anymore c:

now you'll see folks getting longsword 2 pots, cloth/machete 5 pots, 2 regen beads and pots, or just all pots and 2 wards (and its actually pretty good) and you won't usually get yelled at for it.

there are also a ton of new, really fun items

all in all there's a lot more variety (the jungle has become viable for a lot more heroes) and most folks aren't so hardassed about a preconceived meta (although i usually get normal queued with golds and plats; idk how it is in other tiers).

Is it still generally 1 top 1 mid 1 jungle 2 bot? That's what my team went for when I played. I just went with it because I was so focused on trying to figure out what a decent build is now.

top and bot lane can switch up depending on the matchups, but its usually 1 top 1 mid 1 jungle 2 bot

after playing jungle akali for a while, it's definitely got some pros and cons. it's really great once you hit 6, and you can steamroll super hard, but prior to that, your ganks are pretty shitty. don't pick jungle akali if your team (esp your bot lane) has no hard cc, otherwise you're just gonna be worthless for the first ~10 minutes. if you can't get any ganks in, try some counterjungling. if you catch an enemy with ~half hp you can fuck them up pretty good.

anyway exhaust is WAY better on jungle akali than flash is; really helps you with your pre6 ganks
