Hey folks, I used to organize an infrequent San Diego indie dev meetup. It's been a long time since I've done one, and I'm a-hankerin for a sense of community. Are there any San Diego/Orange County people here that would be interested in meeting for drinks/dinner in North County somewhere on Friday, June 27?  Bumping this since I will be living in San Diego for the next six months (coming from Europe), and would love to get a chance to meet up with people over there. Looking at the indiegamer thread, it looks like these are still happening on and off.

Indies within a reasonable distance from my place? MADNESS. Course San Diego is still like an hour away, but it's still cool. I'd be interested in a meet up sometime, but wouldn't know how to get there depending on the area  |

Hi San Diego folks, I'd love to organize something for this month (sorry I was AWOL on the requests last month, I was out of town). Is there a place, week, or day that folks would like to get together? I think I can scrape up about 5 or 6 san diego indies for dinner and beer.
I'm thinking Pizza Port. There's one up in Solana Beach and I think they opened one recently down in the downtown area.

I would definitely be up for it. I don't drive so would probably bring along my wife as well as a driver (if we've sorted out a long term car by then). Wednesday evenings may not be too good; otherwise, any time this month is great. |

Yeah I'd love to go but I live in Escondido (North San Diego County) where like no indies live or something and I can't drive yet so  If I could arrange a ride with someone or something that'd be great but it appears that not many of us CAN drive. Go figure. (Also not 21, so yeah. I've never been to this Pizza Port place, I presume it's good?) |
