Well, i just my my first "real" piece of pixelart, and i would like some feedback for it.

I'm not the type of guy that uses "little colors", because i just don't like the little color look, so don't start bashing it because of that.

All the other helpful criticism is always welcome, desired even Tongue.

Greetings, shiritt.

While the shading and colors are good I think that pose/anatomy/proportions could be better. Before starting pixeling u should draw a sketch of what u want to pixel and then fix all pose issues.

Its true that i didn't draw the skeleton first, i just started drawing the whole image at once, however, i didn't knew it showed  Embarrassed

Also, i'm not trying to pat myself on the back here, but does this piece "show" that its made by a beginner, or does it look "better than you would expect form a beginner"?

Because its the first thing i've drawn in about two years, and all i could draw before that were ugly ass tiles Tongue.

What would be the best path for me to follow now?
i think i'll look into skeletons for now, however, i'm afraid that i don't know what else there is to learn about coloring. and this piece consist only of "basic rules".

I think i'll just try things (thats why its called art Tongue).

And yes, i was a programmer before this, but i wanted to make something worthwhile, instead of ugly stuff :p

It's not just about the anatomy of the skeletons, but also about poses. Learn to put more of a dynamic/action feeling into your poses, it'd improve the overall look of your sprites a lot Smiley
