Alive

Alive (temporary name) is a top-down adventure game that focuses
on survival and exploration on a zombie island.

Character and icon sprite are mostly taken from google

-----------------
General Info |
-----------------

While exploring the island and fighting zombies, you will find new items, recipes, quests, events and npcs. Key parts of the map are fixed, but most of them are randomly generated. The island is divided into several areas that are linked to a short main quest of setting up a survivor camp and finding a way off the island.

---------
Gameplay |
---------

The game will focus a lot on the survival aspect. During the night your vision will be very limited, making it a good choice to get back to the camp and restock items if your hp is low. Using items, attacking and sprinting will most likely cost stamina to avoid mindless button spamming. Missing that arrow on a zombie right next to you will make you pay.

-----------
Combat |
-----------

There will be several weapon and monster types to make exploring both dangerous and satisfying. During the day only normal zombies will spawn all around the island, but during the night and at certain places there will be champions (similar to diablo champions) to give you additional challenge and reward. Every zombie type will favor a special strategy or weapon to kill it. Probably similar to Left 4 Dead's zombies in terms of strategy.

---------
Quests |
---------

Part of the main quest is rebuilding a camp of survivors, which will help you on your journey of finding a way out of this mess. For example, a smith can be used for crafting weapons if you saved him. There will be several possible endings depending on your choices and exploration.
