other advice: buy ps+, the free games are great. and invest in a bigger memory card if you do.
did ps+ already from my ps3 so i have it already! what a godsend
alrady got tron bonne. will def get spelunky, kloana, olliolli 1/2, gravity rush, tearaway, locoroco (2?), MAYBE luftrausers (already own it on steam but it'd be hella good on vita; same thing with binding of isaac rebirth), and maybe rayman legends (already own on ps3, but boxed so no cross-buy =/)

bought touch my katamari yesterday and it's easily the thing i've been using my vita for the MOST so far since. basically a perfect katamari beyond some mild frame dropping here and there.
also bc of ps+ i have murasaki baby (already beat it, it was. middling. like limbo if limbo tried too hard to be swords and sworcery ep with a world of goo aesthetic), the unfinished swan (i'm ok with it?), and sound shapes was insanely cheap so i got that too. and race the sun, which i loved on mac and love now as well on vita (a lot of games like it and spelunky and the like are much better on a handheld) also hohokum, which is a nice lil' weird yume nikki-like thing, but i wish it was a bit more compelling to explore
really disappointed in super monkey ball: banana splitz. i got the demo and jesus christ the series goes downhill with every installment. the worst is you can tell they're trying to reverse that with this one, but the analog sensitivity is too low and the physics are too heavy and the courses have zero imagination (several in the demo even are recycled from previous games). sega: fucking hire me to fix super monkey ball, nobody knows it like i do
anyway.
ALSO i got a 32 gig memory card for it when i bought the thing and i expect that that's probably adequate since i'll likely buy at least one boxed game or two or five or ten throughout the course of me owning this thing and most of the downloads i'm interested in are way under a gig
