Movie that I should have liked, but I did not. Characters were too predictable all the time. That was probably biggest let down. Most interesting part was Sutherland's character but it didn't get enough recognition. I liked the music. Oh, please do explain the intellectual aspects of this film.

Oh, please do explain the intellectual aspects of this film. intellectual = thought provoking, not meant as a snub. I didn't know much about the movie, so the way the movie was structured and the way Trier gave information to the audience I found "thought provoking".

just saw Dai nihonjin, rather interesting. The ending is a bit stupid but some of the monster scenes are worth the look.

Being John Malkovich
totally surreal and wonderful, though it just became depressing towards the end

I'm watching Gamers for the first time. I really don't understand the appeal of playing a real person, except maybe the "graphics"

Melancholia was awesome. Probably too slow and intellectual for most people, but when you get to the ending it all makes sense.
LOL Melancholia was alright. I thought the dramatic devices were too obvious. Dunno why they dumbed it down.
