I get that they are trying to be funny, and I see how the low production qualities can be meant as parody, but - color me crazy - unless they've shown that they are mentally* and physically** able to create something of decent quality, they are just making sh!t quality videos 'cos that's all they can make.

* giving some insight
** producing natural sounding speech

I didn't think that particular review was very funny tbh. He just listed the game's myriad flaws and claimed to praise them. That's pretty basic sarcasm but w/e, it's actually a good review beyond that.

i laughed when he said gamecube

also

@DavidCaruso
The ridiculously low quality of the commentary (shaky voice, weird pauses, lack of rythm) makes me not care what the guy has to say.
WOOOOSH

maybe you'll like this review of earthbound better:

These guys remind me a lot of Plinket.  There's just layers of irony and sarcasm masquerading through an obnoxious strawman.

After seeing this now I know gearbox should have just cut out the shooting and shove that all for the last level and cram more sections like these. call it "Duke Nukem: 5 Am schedule" with all talk about this is haw duke starts his day before saving the world.

Every stage has Duke expecting the aliens to bust out at any second and he'll have to shoot them, but it never happens. So he keeps breaking into restaurants and shooting up bars but every time it turns out he was simply mistaken.

Then in the final chapter it turns out he was just in the matrix the whole time.

That's not what I meant...

Duke Nukem 3 = Duke Nukem 3D
Duke Nukem 4 = Duke Nukem Fourever

 My Word!

 Durr...?

This really took some people 15 years to figure out? Although, if you consider stuff like Time To Kill, The Manhattan Project, etc.; it's probably closer to Duke Nukem 14, now.
