Erm... how DO I change my votes if I need to Derek? I don't see any buttons for that. I think you broke it.

I really had fun with this.  Thanks for the great games, everyone, and thanks for hosting the compo Derek!

I have about 50 more games to play before I can vote.  That's 3.5 a day!

Yo, I edited the poll and checked "Allow user to change vote".

Hopefully that will fix the problem without breaking anything.  Gentleman

Okay, I voted after having played pretty much every game. They were mostly awesome but I had to choose, of course.
I'll explain each choice with ... two terms!

- Because it's fun, Fay (WTF, mechanic)
- sin(Surfing) (visuals, potential)
- Test Pilot (communication, plain fun)
- Transport (atmosphere, proc-gen-visuals/animation)
- Triagulon (atmosphere, potential) (HOLY SHIT EXPAND THE TRIAGULON UNIVERSE DAMMIT)
- ZICZAC (polish, game design)

That's about it. Smiley BaronCid

I'm gonna steal BaronCid's postthingo here, only with 3 words:
-KrebsWelte (Awesome beyond words)
-Legend of the Tomb of Fate (Good dungeon crawl)
-Space Game: Mujakwi (Very atmospheric, interesting)

I voted for:
- ZICZAC (innovative,minimalist)
- Faith to a certain degree (forcing the player to make his own PG music :D )
- Wall of the Words (strategic,deep)
- Dyson (graphics,atmosphere,scale)
- Conway's Game of Bigotry (multiplayer, potential depth)
- Apples and Oranges (original,polished,variety)

MAKE WHAT YOU WANT OF THAT
but keep in mind it is absolutely arbitrary.
Having a low score doesn't mean a bad game, some great entries in the lower part of the list.

Code:
 ( fun + quality + (Procedurality*2))/4 =final note
(each out of 20)

NOTEs:
-Last Colonists ----->17/14/18 =16.75
-Artificial Nature ----->14/17/18 =16.75
-Test pilot ----->15/14/17 =16
-dropTD ----->15/14/17 =16
-Space Game : Mujakwi ----->12/16/16 =15
-Triagulon ----->9/19/15 =14.5

-Wall of the Words ----->16/13/12 =13.25
-MMORPG Tycoon ----->5/18/15 =13.25
-Legend of the Tomb of Fate ----->12/12/12 =12
-Because it's fun, Fay ----->14/18/8 =12
-Faith, to a certain Degree ----->12/8/14   =12

-Space Shot ----->15/11/7 =10.75
-Apophenia ----->7/12/12 =10.75
-Self Destruct ----->16/17/5 =10.75

I voted...

Dyson - Because it was well put together, fun and looked extremely clean
Everyone Loves Active 2 - Fun game eventhough some gay dijipen student coded it
ZicZac - Original creative, fun to play, nice polished feel to it that fit the overall style of the game
Test Pilot - Simple game, didn't look all that great but I loved typing in random shit to get a ship to fly it
Rescue: The Beagles - Cute game, controlled nice enjoyed it.
Self Destruct - Fast paced and a shooter. That did it for me right there;)

These are in no particular order, though Dyson is my favorite. The Germinator was great too, I loved how it looked and how it played and I loved the color switching of bullets. I also liked Wall of the Words even though I sucked ass at it (spalling izn't my fourtay Wink). If I had 8 votes those two would be up there. I basically voted on the games that kept my attention the longest and those were the top ones. Great job to everyone that participated. Looking forward to seeing what the next compo comes births.

Everyone Loves Active 2 - Really classy and smooth.  Feels a bit like a Kenta Cho number.
Legend of the Tomb of Fate - I'm a sucker for a dungeon crawl.
MMORPG Tycoon - Professional and well-made.
Dyson - Really crisp.  If I can use such a descriptor.
Rescue: The Beagles - The best of the bunch, in my opinion.  Feels like a commercial game.
dropTD - A tower game with infinite possibilities?  How cool is that!

Yeah, because while I don't use XNA, I did write Running Bomb to need the .NET 2.0 framework.
