RC cars are tons of fun. I personally don't like gas powered ones, so I got brushless-motor electric ones. Just as fast, a lot less work (until you smash into a wall going 50mph)

Not if they are flintlock pistols.

I read books / short stories and do creative writing. Occasionally there are days when writing a story feels very much like writing code.

I just started getting into darts. My co-workers are getting into Magic: The Gathering again. Maybe you can pick up a non-computer game to get good at.

Playing airsoft with those who are willing to play with me... It's quite fun and could be a little work out, good for your eyes too, well, at least if you play it using safety glass, could be bad if you don't. Go drifting... with RC Cars...

I like to eat meals at dinner time, have sleep at bed time, spend time with family at family time.
Take care, Alastair.

Airsoft is a blast. My roommate and I started a college airsoft team my freshman year of undergrad...we even managed to get money from the university for equipment. Haven't played in a while though. We had AEGs but I think the most fun I've ever had with airsoft is doing springer pistol wars in somebody's backyard . If you're near Atlanta there are quite a few places to go play.

I recommend any physical activity, I have started long distance running. Building up your cardiovascular fitness alone will increase your over all health and help prevent sickness. You can also ride bikes and swim to get the same effect. Another benefit is that you can eat all the bad stuff you want without having to worry about your health as long as you burn it off.

i don't really think that's true -- exercise doesn't totally negate the effects of bad food. you burn the calories so you don't get fat, yeah, but that's about it, you still have to worry about the effects of the food. i mean, it's not like exercising gives you the vitamins you need if you don't get them from food

I didn't mean eat nothing but cupcakes because you run all the time. Just that many people I know and work with feel bad or won't want to have a simple pleasure just because of the effects it could have. Sweating and keeping a active body will help remove toxins from the body and offer more exposure to the sun which in turn helps your body produce vitamin D, as well as helping reduce stress and anxiety.

Take up knife throwing. It's what I did. I'm awful at it, but I've been improving. If it sounds even a little interesting, you should give it a try. You can get a set of three cheap stainless steel blades for well under $20 if you look hard enough on ebay or Amazon.
To broaden the suggestion: You probably have interests. It shouldn't take much thinking to turn something you LIKE into a thing you can DO. That sounds stupid and unhelpfully straightforward, but, well, I don't know what else to say. I guess the idea that a person actually can't think of anything to do is a little foreign to me. I've felt like that a few times before, but upon further concentration, I usually come up with something I would really like to do... it was just hiding further back in my brain because I had some reservations about it; "Well, I've never done that before." "Where do I start?" "It might take a lot of work to figure it out at first." "I don't know if I can do it." et cetera. Nothing is really stopping you, though, unless it's something expensive. If you want to take up kayaking and you can't afford to buy a kayak... that makes things a little more troublesome, I admit.
Generally, I would actually recommend against a different type of artistic outlet. Personally, I haven't found that to be very helpful. For me, it seems like my "creative stamina" is finite and all categories draw from the same pool... When I'm working on two projects and I get bored, starting a third project will quickly make me even more bored with all of it. Folks are different, though.
