Looks good! I would change not the player entirely but maybe his animation. It looks a bit silly. :p

Nice work. Yes, but the sprite is too small to add details >.< But well, I'll see what can I do. Meanwhile, here I leave the other views: Of course, I don't post the right view because it's only a flip of the left view xD I've updated the changelog too. Now I'm working on breaking animation and hardness system. Thanks for reply!

Now I think it's better It looks better but the arms/legs need to alternate. it should be left leg out, right arm out/right leg out, left arm out. Also, the title doesn't really make me want to play the game. Personally, I'm mined-out. What are you going to add so that it isn't just 'another mining game'?

I don't understand you when you say "it should be left leg out, right arm out/right leg out, left arm out." is supposed to do that right now :S And well, the title is just to call it somehow xD. However, I was thinking about it, and the final title will be Cavevade (Cave + Evade). So you start in a random point of the cave minning a wall, when you discover that you have released a nest of monsters. Now, you have to escape from the cave avoiding monsters and building walls and traps to stop them. Of course, I have to think what kind of traps should I make and how the monster would follow you. By the way, the breaking animation and hardness system is done. Now I'll try to make a monster who follow the character avoiding walls (or destroying it).

I like the idea of this game, but I do think the graphics lack a certain "flair". Here's is my take "more like a total revamp" of your graphics. You can edit it any way you like. "or don't use it at all for that matter"

I think I have to change the blocks graphics; those are very flat right now :/ Here I leave a video about a funny thing has happened to me just now xD: Bad quality... I forgot to record in 720p >.<U

That's the world's least exciting video game title, by the way.

Hey PyVr, I meant to reply sooner. Here is a running animation reference. Someone posted this in the art thread and it helped me out alot. The right arm will never go forward with the right leg, vice versa. I hope that clears up what I was trying to say. If you already meant to convey that in your sprite, it's very hard to read. I like your idea btw. Please keep the phantom pick-axe...

By the way, I think I would make a boomerang pickaxe or something like that xD

Hi! I've just implemented all thing related to mining with a pickaxe, but I don't like so much the down and up animation. Here I leave a video about it: Someone comes up with how to improve it? :/ Here I leave the spritesheet if somebody want to edit something: I've inspired in Terraria, but of course, in left/right directions it's good the system of rotate arm and pickaxe, but in up/down directions it's look bad I have to fix the walking animation that Seasons say of course xD

I don't mean to offend, or ask many questions early, so I'll just ask: what is so unique about this game? What sets it apart from the other mining games?

Don't worry xD Well, I said in a few post before: So you start in a random point of the cave minning a wall, when you discover that you have released a nest of monsters. Now, you have to escape from the cave avoiding monsters and building walls and traps to stop them. And more things I have to think

I say, now I say, that sounds quite interesting, but why is he mining?
lolwhocaresaboutplot
The real question is, how is that different than...a situation in Minecraft?
I say make a story like he's trying to find minerals for his poor family or else he will get AIDS and then turn into a potato
