The game consists of bars, parties, and other social locations where players form gender based teams and commingle. You get a variety of pickup lines of varying potency, though you have to manage the cooldowns for each carefully. If you successfully find and party with a member of the opposite gender that is compatible with your zodiac sign, you score points and unlock opportunities to play courtship minigames that invariably go nowhere but make you feel better about yourself and let you brag about it on the convenient in-game forums.
Advanced players can attempt to court members of their own sex or both genders at once, but it greatly complicates the playing field and is recommended for only the most experienced of players. Free-for-all is just that much more difficult to handle.
There are still concerns over a rash of "Zodiac Players" who roleplay having a different sign than in reality, which leads to a lot of accusations over honesty when somebody claiming to be a Pisces is not imaginative and sensitive enough, and may be, in reality, a Gemini. Every week there are horror stories of a Saggitarius going out to me a Virgo in real life, only to discover, to his horror, she is not a Virgo, but really a Libra! Many a broken heart has resulted from idealistic players who aren't ready to accept that what they see on the internet just isn't what they get in real life.
Also, there is still lingering confusion ever since the patch last year that added the new 13th Zodiac. Some players feel Ophius isn't well balanced with the existing zodiac classes, while others felt it was a needed change to balance out Leo, which until now seemed to be the optimal zodiac. Players who rolled Leo were also a little upset to find they've been nerfed to Cancer after so many years. Expect a lot of confusion when you first join, as even some experienced players haven't quite come to grips with their new roles and subsequently fumble in their attempts to play wingman while the party leader tries to make a big score.
I can't recommend this game. I suggest instead playing an MMO based on mutual interests and friendship, as it winds up having much more replayability and longevity.
Actually, I've never played this game.
