If somebody created a Megaman Legends 3 fangame I would play the hell out of it. Even if it was just a hack of the MML1 or 2 ROM I'd be down with it.
Here, have fun. Hahaha, so crazy

That game is perhaps the single most effective interactive demonstration of "Futility" I have ever played.

People are trying to get Capcom's attention by joining the MML3 Devroom and obtaining a Servebot number. We are trying to reach 25,000 and right now we have almost 9000. A few devs are taking notice, so while it may be a long shot maybe the higher-ups will reconsider.

You know, I liked it when game developers actually made the game themselves-- instead of expecting their fan base to make the entirety of it for them. Oh, burn. I'm curious how much more Capcom can shaft their fans, it's an interesting experiment. How much can you push your fans and they'll still just keep buying your games? Hell, it been working HARD for Sega / Square-Enix for YEARS and YEARS. The Sonic games have been horri-bad and people just keep snatching them up. This might be a new revelation in marketing. I'd like it if the president of Capcom just went on twitter and said, "F you guys, we're never making another megaman EVER. EVER. HAHAHAHAHA! Now come and buy the latest version of dead rising/fighting game!"

Dead rising wasn't exactly capcom head plan, it was force on them, and then it was to late to cancel because the money sink in.

At least Squenix admits when their product is terrible (see: apology letter for FFXIV)

i like that about square too. i read their postmortem for ff13 too one time, where they admitted that it was too linear and they underestimated how standards for rpg in the west have changed, and that's why the game only got moderate review scores compared to the other final fantasy games
i think the real reason the final fantasy games are doing bad though is because they fired most of the team that made the series good originally, now they all work for mistwalker or something. good companies don't make good games, good people make good games

Yep, the reason they basically closed the vault on any good new Mana games or Chrono games. They arn't going to take any risks trying to make these games. Without any talented people at the company any longer, you could say they're in a pretty bad position, not being able to make any decent games that arn't spin-offs in any of their main series. Final Fantasy Tactics on iPhone for $16 smells like desperation to me. Also the reason Sonic has sucked so bad for so long. Sonic games need Yuji Naka SOOO badly. Naka understands that the level designs NEED to be GOOD and how Sonic needs to control. At least Sonic Generations looks pretty good.

FF Tactics port was released for 40 bux on the PSP and no one complained. The game is identical to that port in content That said, the iOS version is pretty poor. It runs slow (on my Iphone 4 at least), has blurry text and fucked up controls. How do you even manage to fuck up the controls on like the only genre that actually WORKS on iOS?
