If the moons align, there will also be a free private screening of Indie Game: The Movie.

Dude bros.  It sucks that the IGF deadline is right among these dates, people gonna be mad crunchin' and stressed y'all.  Everyone wants to do their best so they can end up like their hero.

Probably later in October, because I think by then my contract should definitely be up and I'll have free time.

Shit... Maybe early October is better so my team and I can wrap up our iPhone game before the IGF deadline... Ugh. Either way, I'll be there.

IGF deadline is 17th for normal, 31st for students, so I voted for after the 17th because I am not a student *high fives the next poster*

Do I get a discount for being cool?

How about we get a donation pool to get Paul Eres out here?

I sent him the link to this thread on Steam and asked:

M!$ΛN̥̙̹̩͖͢T̶̤H̱RØPE: would you come?
rinkuhero: dunno
rinkuhero: maybe

Sadly, I don't think "maybe" is good enough to encourage any donations to the Paul Eres fund Sad

I approve this message. Any idea on how much it would take to make this happen?

the travel costs / expenses would be about $1000, but i'd demand an extra $1000 for having to put up with phubans in person, giving a grand total of $2000

Oh man, I forgot about TIG Jam, because it was always too far away. But I'll be living in Mountain View starting in the middle of next week, so I will probably be there.

For some reason I read,
Quote from: Overkill
I'll be living in Mountain View
as "I'll be living in Mountain Dew" and I got a weird image in my head.

Also, I think I'm going to go again this year (and hopefully will be there for longer than just the last night to play MTG, hehe).

Is there any desire or room for artists to go? I don't wanna waste my time if it's mostly coding and prototype building...

Artists are welcome to come, you can probably find someone to collaborate with on something (might want to poke around and set something up beforehand). Do you have a portfolio anywhere? Smiley
