Tinker is a prime example of nuke/utility carry.
However, I never understood how is it that Necrophos carries?
I feel like Necro's skillset allows him to scale better with farm than most 'support' heroes, survivability items allow him to get dat Heartstopper's Aura damage in, his other passive granting huge HP and mana regen for hero kills and his ultimate allowing him to get those kills. Necro isn't a conventional carry, but he scales pretty damn well with farm, allowing him to semi-carry kind of like a core Axe. |

he doesn't. he steals kills and just never dies. if he doesnt die he can easily clean up fights. |

Necro has amazing base regen. Like a lot of carries, Necro's strength is that he never fucking dies. Additionally, he's a natural at putting the kill down on the enemy carry. He also farms pretty well, and his passive scales perfectly, of course, being a percentage. The only actual weird thing about him is that for a carry, he's not particularly good at taking out supports. Not a big deal though, means he just pairs naturally with a ganker-type carry. / and tinker is not a carry; yes tinker can win games but only if the rest of his team can fight 4v5 and let tinker work |

a- is played as a support
b- relies on his nukes lategame. or even midgame.

Lucker, I'm only on day three of yet another attempt of staying away from this foul addiction.
BKB against a tinker is useful... but no more than Ghost Scepter is against Void or PA. It doesn't render him useless by any means. Also BKBs lowest cooldown is 55seconds... that's a lot of time relative to Tinker's insane map presence. And while your 5 seconds are up he can just blink away and focus on something/someone else.

I literally just had a game where I was playing support to a PA who sat on: treads, shield, two ironwood branches until 33:45, when she bought... a helm of the dominator. The position 2, DK, got nothing more advanced than a magic stick and brown boots. These idiots were in a group though, which tells me it's just long weekend players. |
