Remember that this also means longer self-stun if you mess up. Not leveling the stun higher than 1 can be viable if you only want it to protect yourself and not risk getting stunned longer.

Nah, I'm pretty sure having a higher minimum stun would be a straight buff. The risk of Unstable Concoction is directly proportional to how long you're charging it. If you cast it immediately after preparation, there is no risk unless you misclick or have slow fingers.

you're just playing him dum if you can't land his stun. you gotta start brewing out of their line of site and come up from behind them. you can't just start brewing from behind your creeps and honestly expect them to be dumb enough to not run away.

me and dustin ran a ancient apparition and alchemist lane, it was very good. literally impossible to miss a stun if you have someone like aa or crystal maiden to slow/stun/root them in place.

That has to be one of the least safe lanes possible in terms of stuns. Anything else would be better (Sven, Windrunner, anything). Great material for a trilane though (with a safe stun to start things off)

alch is known as the worst hero in dota for a reason, he gets farm, has no impact on the game till 6 items in, and then when he hits 6 items you would have rather had even skele king instead.

putting points in goblin greed is basically suicide/pointless because he has some of the worst farming ability

I hate alch but love his concept. I want it to be good T_T

Alchemist is one of the most amazing farmers in the entire game. An easy Alchemist guide would be

Jungle Alchemist

1) stack small neutral creeps until like 4 or 5 camps are stacked
2) max out greed
3) rush vanguard + radiance then travel and cuirass
4) ALWAYS spam your ulti (even though you're just walking around the map or something, always press it once it's off cooldown)

For the members here who are new to the game btw, here are some ultis that you should always spam or use immediately once off cooldown for efficiency

Nature's Prophet, Night Stalker, Dragon Knight, Alchemist

Actually it's better to use NP's when it comes off CD only after you've hit level 11. And Dragon Knight's ulti should be saved for when the shit gets proximal to the wind-spinner.

It's way better to use NP's ultimate to assist with ganks and teamfights from afar than to farm.
