Does it change aggro even if you start attacking a different enemy creep? I've been hitting a friendly creep to get it to stop shooting me.

That helps on tower AI, but what with creep? Why they sometimes omit the tower and run past it in a full retard-mode?
Turning auto-attack off really helps, I can actually start farming now. It will probably be a long time before I will be confident to play PvP, but it starts to make sense.

Creeps like attacking heroes and enemy creeps more than they like attacking the tower, so you have to kill everything else if you want them to focus on the tower.

just had a match where the matchmaking went like this: radiant 405 wins (me) 10 0 3 359
dire 427 336 457 542 913
thing is that we won and it was a fairly entertaining game so maybe the matchmaking is beyond gam3r l0gix capacity to understand like a really big big whale

Usually when you see one or more low-win people in matchmaking, it's because someone invited them into the game, and then all bets are off. It's very hard for MM to make an even match when one of the guys in a party has 300+ wins and the other one has less than 10. League has the same problem with unbalanced parties and what both games seem to do is assume that the low-win player in the party is equal in experience to the one with many more wins.

And imho it's a fair assumption. Otherwise, a ranked team could get 1 account to few hundreds ELO and just team with it to inflate their score and fight with lower ELO enemies all the time(if it took average).

That actually works in league, last week (even after the mm changing patch), me and another lvl 30 were introducing our friend to the game and for 10 or 20 games we got mostly beginners in 10-20 level range

league will try to match up the levels of the players, so if you're playing with four level 30s and a level 10, the other team will have something similar, usually

I've seen people do it a lot, I think it's a really dick move tricking the matchmaker so you can stomp some pub game, but people still do it.

There's nothing funny about Dota.
Nothing.
I played an in-house with my chums at the MSPA forums and the whole thing was recorded and casted but unfortunately the casters mic and video card are wretched tier so there's nothing really shareable for any of you lovelies.
Basically we played an AP game then a CM game. The AP game I got royally fucked by having to tell the newer players on my team which lanes to go in and getting tossed in the meantime while they were switching.
The CM game I got a beyond Godlike kill streak as WR, so that was fun. Turns out Captain's Mode is GREAT if you're playing an in-house. Who knew?!

I just laned as Vengeful Spirit with Skeleton King and we won at 30 minutes, 34/5. I had 9/1/16 and sk had 10/1/17. That was a fun lane.

I want to waste money on chests, but I don't really like the item drops in the currently active chests. #firstworldproblems
Also my internet connection is terribly bad at the moment (disconnects like once every 5 mins) so I can only play bot games.

if you're playing rubick and you've taken chronosphere, the first step before dropping that wonderful magic fun globe on your entire team is to take your body by the shoulders with your own hands and do an olympic level flip-self-toss into a trash bin so that your feet are flailing about in the open air
now you're ready to dote
