Hi everyone!  It's been awhile. Smiley

This is my first attempt at making a proper, cinematic trailer for one of my games.  I've spent a few days futzing with it and I think I've got it to where I like it.  It's a bit rough in places (the voiceovers are a bit loud, among other things) but I think it's a good start.  I'm looking to get some feedback before I futz with it further.

Anyway, here it is:

Appreciate any initial reactions you might have!

Interesting premise. Graphics look gorgeous. I like how detailed the animation is.

Does the game itself have voice acting, or is just that for the trailer?

Can't really figure out what the story is, but the voice acting is very good.

Didn't realize this either. I think I've a few screenshots of one of his earlier games a while back though. The art style in the trailer looked vaguely familiar to me (beyond the obvious Lucas Arts inspiration ofc), but I couldn't put my finger on it.

i'm surprised more people on tigsource haven't played dave gilbert's adventure games, they're at least as famous as yahtzee's adventure games (but even if you haven't played them there's no good excuse for not having read the reviews of them on timw's blog)

anyway they largely form a continuous story so it's probably a good idea to play the old ones before you play the new ones (although i'm sure you can play the new one first without too much confusion)

I ended up having to remove the vid (it got posted somewhere it shouldn't have), but thanks for the feedback everyone!  You'll see an official announcement on September 14th.

edit:  Oh, and to answer your questions... yes.  The game has full voice acting.
