No idea what it's about, but it's giving off a strong Snatcher / Policenauts vibe.  It could be completely different mechanically, but it has that cyberpunk atmosphere I really love.

Very very tasty spritework.

I like the bigger sprites but I also like how the platform appear huge with the small sprites.
Solution: use the big sprites with larger platforms

Pretty nice feel. I like that ship a lot. I'm not totally in love with the characters, I think the rest of the game is a lot more stylish than they are.

What's the play like?

I agree with the addition of color. I feel the world is too light to be that monotone, but that's just an idea. Anyway, looks really great so far!

it's not like Flashback anymore
i should edit original post but now i'm too busy for that
about video - game on conception stage in this moment and i'm looking for coder for this project (yestarday start talks with someone)

So much depth yet so minimal!  I love the blue 'wires' you indicate travelling to the laser or beam thing.  Very stylish.

I love the graphics, too. I think that the shadows could be darker, and be a bit more uniform in direction (the shadow at the top level doesn't go away from the opening), but that's just nitpicking. Great graphics!
